Singlo ("we", "our", or "the App") is a mobile karaoke tool that lets you import your own music, generate AI-powered synchronized lyrics, and sing along. This Privacy Policy explains what data we handle and how we protect your privacy.
1. Information We Collect
Singlo is designed to be privacy-friendly. We do not require you to create an account. The following data is processed:
- Audio files you import โ Stored only on your device. When you request AI subtitle generation, the audio file is securely transmitted to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription, then immediately discarded by the server.
- Song title / artist name โ Sent to lrclib.net to search for existing synchronized lyrics. No personal information is attached.
- Lyrics text โ If you request translation, the lyric text is sent to OpenAI's API (GPT-4o mini) and returned as translated text. No audio is involved at this step.
- Subscription status โ Managed locally and via RevenueCat, a third-party subscription platform. RevenueCat may collect purchase receipts and subscription state to verify entitlements.
- Advertising identifiers โ If you choose to watch rewarded ads, Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
2. Data Storage
- All your songs, generated subtitles, and translation caches are stored locally on your device only.
- We do not operate a cloud database for user content.
- Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
3. Third-Party Services

4. Children's Privacy
Singlo is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us so we can delete it.
5. Your Rights
Since Singlo does not maintain a server-side database of your personal data, most data is controlled entirely by you on your device. For data processed by third-party services (OpenAI, RevenueCat, AdMob), please contact those services directly regarding data deletion or access requests.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
